Christian Angels and the Resurrection
Angels have been a part of the Christian faith since the beginning. They are believed to be messengers from God, sent to bring messages and perform tasks on His behalf.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a pivotal moment in the Christian faith. The Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 28:2) and John (John 20:12) both mention the presence of two divine messengers at Jesus' tomb, comforting Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James that Jesus has risen from the grave. These angels bring news of hope and joy and remind us that life can overcome death. Their presence at such a momentous occasion is an example of God's faithfulness and power, and an assurance that He will always be with us through the struggles we face and that we too can experience life after death.
There have been numerous accounts by people of interactions with angels. Johnny L. Dudley has recorded three personal experiences in his book Angels Unaware, available on Amazon. If you have not yet had a chance to download the first chapter, you can download the free PDF by clicking this link.
